Please note that Obedience Awards (NOT THE SUPPLEMENTAL PRIZES LISTED BELOW) will be awarded at the Welcome Party on Sunday 10/12 at the hotel at 7 pm.

Dear Obedience and Rally competitors, your contribution to the trophy fund would be greatly appreciated. Such beautifully crafted trophies make timeless memory keepsakes. Our club has done a wonderful job of creating these trophies and spares no expense in maintaining their quality year after year. Your donation would help cover a part of the manufacturing and shipping costs. For donations of $10 or more please click here. All prizes and tokens are a courtesy of Gayle & Mike Smith, Lena & Erik Skov. A “Thank You” token will be given for each obedience entry regardless of qualifying score. The following prizes are supplemental to the GDCA trophies and will be awarded based on the qualifying scores in the following categories:

1. “Grand Overachiever Award” -  Kuranda XXL Aluminum Bed (retail $149.50). Donated by Kuranda Dog Bed. Visit their website here. Awarded to the Dane with the highest combined score in all regular* Obedience and Rally classes. Example: Marmaduke qualifies in two obedience classes and one rally class with the total score of 466 winning over  Scooby -Doo who qualified in one obedience class and two rally classes with the total score of 380.

2. “Oldie-Goldie Dane Award” – 36”x 54”  Chew-Proof  Primo Crate Pad (retail $65). Donated by Primo Pad. Visit their website here. Awarded to the oldest Dane that receives a qualifying score in any regular* Obedience class (excludes Rally).

3. “Munchkin Dane Award”  – 30” x 48” Chew-Proof  Primo Crate Pad (retail $55) . Donated by Primo Pad. Visit their website here. Awarded to the youngest Dane that receives a qualifying score in any regular* Obedience class (excludes Rally).

4-10. Seven "... Overachiever Awards" -– Blue Moon Beaded Dane Collar by Anita Brown (retail $40). Provided at cost by Anita herself. Visit Anita's website here. Awarded to the highest scoring Dane in any regular* Obedience class (excludes Rally) in the following categories: Blue, Black, Brindle, Fawn, Harlequin, Mantle and Merle (Merle requires proof of ILD or limited registration).

To be eligible for the following prizes special registration at prize table is required prior to the start of the first obedience class.

11. “Oldie-Goldie Handler Award” – Extra Large Durable Soft Dane Toy (retail $12-$14). Awarded to the oldest handler whose Dane receives a qualifying score in any regular* Obedience class (excludes Rally)

12. “Munchkin Handler Award”  – Extra Large Durable Soft Dane Toy. Awarded to the youngest handler whose Dane receives a qualifying score in any regular* Obedience class (excludes Rally)

13. “Couple of Overachievers Award” – 2 Extra Large Durable Soft Dane Toys. Awarded to the couple with the highest combined qualifying score.  Requires two Danes, two handlers and two qualifying scores in any regular* Obedience class (excludes Rally)

14. “Only In Your Dream - Team” – Extra Large Durable Soft Dane Toy for each Dane. Awarded to the team with the highest qualifying score

15. “Double Your Trouble - Double Your Fun” - Extra Large Durable Soft Dane Toy for each Dane. Awarded to the obedience brace with the highest qualifying score

* Regular classes include Novice A & B, Open A & B, Utility A & B. Mike and Gayle Smith, Lena and Erik Skov are NOT eligible for the listed above supplemental awards.
